This piece is a continuation of my music series. Every piece in the series has sold out so I painted this one to keep it going. The previous painting was called accepted and was about music being our universal friend across all cultures. With this piece I wanted to honor blues and jazz specifically in American culture. So I named it, “Blue Note,” a note specific to blues and jazz music.
