This painting was one of the first oil paintings I was truly proud of. It represents my earlier work and does not fully align with my current portfolio, and it is priced with that in mind. Even so, it remains an important symbol of achievement for me.
The piece is titled My Mountain because it represents a mountain I had to climb. I had a dream to paint well. I had a dream to become an artist. The mountain standing in front of me was a lack of skill, and through hard work and determination, I faced it and climbed it.
This was my mountain.
